Documentation Requirements for Individuals and Corporate Shareholders

For Individual:
Passport -EID or VISA (if applicaple )

Corporate Documents: 
In case any of the Owners who hold 25% of shares and more, identified as corporates, please request the below:

  1. Certificate of incorporation
  2. Memorandum of association
  3. Certificate of incumbency or Good Standing certificate:
    ( The issuance date of any of these documents should be less than 90 days. )
  4. Other supporting documents, if applicable: such as the Share Register.
  5. Bored Resolution: signed by the directors or the stakeholders holding the authorized signatory powers.

Steps To Get Started

1. Consultation

Our Business Development Team will guide you on suitable business activities, timelines, requirements, and pricing based on your specific needs.

2. Submission

Submit all required documents and information through our online portal. Upon request, our Guide Team can assist with the submission process and provide step-by-step instructions for using the portal.

3. KYC & Application Approval

You will receive an email prompting you to complete the following tasks via your dashboard:

  1. KYC verification

  2. Application approval

Our Guide Team is available to assist with this step upon request.

4. Timeline

The official processing timeline begins at this stage and typically takes 1–2 working days.

5. License Processing

Your license application will be processed. In certain cases, additional documents may be requested by the Applicant Support Team.

6. Company Documents

Once approved, your company documents will be sent to your registered email address.

  • Automatically initiated after license approval.
  • You will receive an email notification once the Immigration Card and E-Channel registration are approved. At this stage, you can proceed with the visa application through the portal.

    the next steps.

To Apply:
  1. Access Shams portal and navigate to Employee Management → Visa → New.
  2. For an entry visa outside the UAE:  
    o Select No for Entry Visa.
    o Complete the details and process the payment online.
  3. For an entry visa within the UAE:
    o Select Yes for Change of Status.
After Approval:
  • Applicants outside the UAE: Print the entry permit visa and present it at passport control upon arrival.
  • Applicants inside the UAE: Print the visa and proceed to the medical test.

  • Provide the required details, including your medical test report and insurance certificate and submit the application.
  •  For first-time UAE residents:
    o You will receive an Emirates ID appointment form.
    o Follow the instructions and attend the designated Identity Center for fingerprinting.
  •  The Emirates ID will be couriered by the Emirates ID Authority based on your chosen delivery method.
